“So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you… For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation, to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” – Romans 1:15-17
Paul stayed ready to preach the good news of the Word because it is the power, the “dunamis,” the miracle working, mighty, unstoppable power of God Himself to produce deliverance, protection, healing, prosperity, peace and the very recreation of the spirit of man into a new creature created in the likeness and image of Jesus in perfect right standing with God!
Inside the Word (no wonder it’s called the good news!), He reveals and makes known the reality of right standing with God as you receive it in faith and walk it out in faith or, in other words, as you LIVE by faith!
If you do some research into Romans 1:15-17 and the original Greek word meanings, those last two paragraphs are just a slight clarification of what all is contained in just those 3 verses! WOW!
How are you still sitting there instead of running around the room?!
Since we are the righteous and are supposed to be living by faith, let’s look at Romans chapter 10…
“But the righteousness which is by faith speaketh on this wise,… The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart: that is, the WORD OF FAITH which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him form the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” – Romans 10:6-10
Do you realize what that is saying? He just gave us the process by which the just live by faith going from faith to faith living out the reality of our protection, deliverance, healing, peace and prosperity!
Look at that again. If you have been made the righteousness of God by faith (2 Corinthians 5:17), then the Word of faith is in your heart and should be in your mouth. How did it get there? Paul goes on to explain in verses 14-17 that its there by the anointed preaching of the Word of God. That’s how you got born again to begin with as he illustrates with the example of how the recreation of the spirit of man is done…believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing that Jesus is your Lord!
Now notice this…the very next word is “for” which means “because.” He is about to explain why and how this process works. He explains the principle upon which it is based. For further clarification, I am going to use Strongs concordance of Greek words to further translate that word “salvation” which is the Greek word “soteria” which comes for the Greek word “sozo.”
We already know that he is talking about a heart that is filled with the Word of faith and a mouth that is filled with the Word of faith based on verse 8.
“WITH THE HEART THAT IS FILLED WITH THE WORD OF FAITH MAN BELIEVES AND PRODUCES RIGHTEOUSNESS AND WITH THE MOUTH THAT IS FILLED WITH THE WORD OF FAITH CONFESSION IS MADE THAT PRODUCES DELIVERANCE, PROTECTION, SAFETY, HEALING, PEACE, PROSPERITY AND WHOLENESS!”
That’s the process that recreated the rebirth of the human spirit when you got born again and that’s the process that will produce victory and the full meaning of “salvation” in every every of your life because it is a spiritual law!
